I deal with apartment building neighbors who have their own dumpster but because one of their two parking lots is closer to my bins but their garbage in my recycling bin or my bin. People get irritated because not all trash companies use the trucks with arms that dump the whole can. So if a trash worker grabs the large garbage bag of trash from the can, the small bags of poop sit in the bottom of the can and never get emptied. Or if the homeowner puts their large bag of trash in the can it can break open a poop bag they didn’t know was there.

This is the answer. Our city garbage workers usually reach in the can and pick up the bags of trash and toss them into their truck versus using an arm as such if there's a bag of poop at the bottom, it will be missed. I don't even put small bathroom garbage bags in my garbage bin. I put those bags in my bigger kitchen bags so that all my garbage gets captured. Please do not put your dog poop in my garbage bin!

Yes I almost crashed from this -- giant sheet of ice flew into my windshield and completely blocked my vision on 395N. Fortunately it slid off when I braked. So it does happen.

bus driver here—this is my #1 pet peeve—even above people who don’t have their fare ready and clog my doorway looking for it. I will announce on the microphone to please turn it down every time. It’s gobsmacking to me that people think it’s ok—but there’s definitely a demographic that tends to do it more than others, and English isn’t their first language, so communication can be difficult. I try to be understanding of cultural differences but damn, the personal device volume is drives me crazy.
