I get the feeling that neither Dems or Republicans have fully learned their lessons yet. Plan for a Betty White vs Willie Nelson election in 2028 or maybe those two aren't old enough/dead enough for silly GOP and Dem voters.
Republicans are so unpredictable there is no telling what they will do. Democrats on the other hand are very predictable. They will nominate Mayor Pete because they think he’s a good debater.

Look at young men - they've been absolutely primed by podcasts and social media to be anti-woman. The current media absorbed by young men is horrifically toxic; it's a lot worse than 15 years ago when I was in my 20s. Conservative Inc built a better mouse trap for capturing these young male minds.
Democrats could've blunted this advantage with a white male POTUS candidate. Obama knew the time was not right for a Harris presidency, given how young men are trending the historic unpopularity of the Biden administration. The well was poisoned.
The cards just were not in her favor.

I don't believe the OP for a second.
My take on this is that Obama doesn't believe she's not suitable for the role it's that she's not electable by the US population.
Just like Hillary was more than qualified for the position as is Harris. If this country was not ready to elect a white female for president they sure as f*** weren't going to elect a black female for president.
Ok, but WHY is Obama even in the position of having that much influence at all? This is the issue. He’s not a king. Or the party boss. Or shadowy godfather figure. The guy needs to find a hobby and GO AWAY.
..im sure you say the same about Trump who undermined immigration legislation and talked with foreign heads of gov
Who CARES grow UP. Jesus! Most of you dimwitted up your rectums Democrats can’t stop squawking about how Trump followers are cultist idiots incapable of looking at him rationally - while also nattering on about how we have the cool celebs and damn isn't Barack cool and why won't Saint Michelle deign to run? It's mortifying. So many Ds are like b!!!hy teenagers who yearn to worship their leaders. Why? It's more similar than not.
Mortifying that you cant see that Trump supporters are in fact cultist morons.
How is that the f——-/ng point?? Yes. They ARE cultists. Why do democrats encourage the same for us? I don’t need to genuflect towards the Obamas or the Clintons or the Pod Save Jons anymore. I would kill for adult perspective and an inspiring bench of democratic candidates.

I feel this in my bones.
I’m a Democrat who used to think this but now am skeptical any Republican woman make it past a primary.
Republicans will never elect a woman. No woman can make it out of their primary. They might throw Noem a bone as VP down the road, but the voters won’t elect a woman. Not now.
This is misinformation and not at all true.
+1. Depending on how the next four years go, Nikki Haley is a possibility for 2028.
