Biden and the Pentagon is doing this in the same way you will see renters who mess up the Airb&b or apartment before leaving just to stick it to the next guy and leave a mess behind on purpose.
They want Trump to have no choice but to go to war. The military industrial complex hates Trump's anti war stance and his apathy toward NATO, dictators, and long and expensive Middle East wars.

For those that missed it in the turkey haze:
Israel peppered western Syria with attacks for a few weeks to set the stage, then a bunch of Syrian communication devices exploded.
Turkey opened its border with Syria to allow a bunch of foreign fighters to flood into Syria.
"Moderate terrorist" groups then began a large scale offensive. These "moderate terrorists" were supported by Ukrainian trained and lead units, particularly with drone warfare. They also seemed to drape Turkish flags and flash Turkish cash wherever they appear. The Syrian army does more running than fighting.
The US puts out a weird press release calling the terrorists terrorists, while condemning Assad for not negotiating with them and stating very suspiciously that the US had nothing to do with the attack.
Russia bombs the terrorists and sends a bunch of troops and equipment to support Syria.
Iraqi troops are heading towards Syria to support Assad. Kurdish troops are fighting the "moderate terrorists" in the north currently.
At this point most of the fighters in Syria are not even Syrian, giving this a very global character. We'll see if the intensity continues to ramp up to "real" world war levels, or if this will remain more a Spanish Civil war level conflict.

Serious question: were Palestinians and Israel (a la the small Jewish population there) fighting in years leading up to WWII? Did it begin with or after British control of the region?

UK leaders are saying they will commit troops to Ukraine if Trump pulls funding.

Thank God. At least the British are not a bunch of naive magas.
+1 But, they should because Europe is their backyard.
Hilarious comment by Boris Johnson:
Johnson criticized some Republicans and said they were "entranced by [Russian leader] Vladimir Putin" and have "a kind of weird sort of fanboy thing about Putin."

It’s truly astonishing to see posts like this one. Zionists who unconditionally support Israel’s policies and actions (including those for whom widespread atrocities are not a deal breaker) actually believe that this unprecedented period of institutionalized corruption in favor of their interests will last forever. They believe that the die is cast; and that nothing they do will jeopardize their standing in the world, much less their own personal safety and security. Yikes.
These are batshit crazy times, indeed.
Do American Zionist Jews or the Zionist Fundamentalist Christians know that Netanyahu is signed on with Klaus in Davos? I doubt it.
Say it with me, "Genocide Don." Trump isn't going to stop Netanyahu or the Zionists.
