There will not be another Sinwar until Hamas members finish their Battle Royale to determine the new boss. Sinwar had to kill his way to the top, and the next one will too.

So even after Israel’s war in Gaza and potential war with Iran, Hamas will still exist?
I thought Iran is the top dog here

Would you care to retract your statement, PP?

+1 I hope they release those poor innocent hostages soon. They were young people simply attending a music festival.

I don't know why you would say that. His last photo is of him clearly sitting down, not curling up or cowering or trying to hide. He sat on the couch, clearly wounded, and threw a piece of wood at the drone he knew would kill him.

It's worth remembering Sinwar always knew he would be killed and he was ready to die every day of his life.

LOL he was refusing to agree to the latest ceasefire talks because he was trying to negative his own exit from Gaza. He spent ten months underground surrounding himself with Israeli hostages as human shields, until the hostages were so starved and weak to move as often as he needed to, so he had them killed. When he was killed, he was found dead with fake IDs (stating he was a UNWRA worker) and 10k in cash, presumably trying to escape. Some fearless leader of your terrorist cult. It amazes me that only 20 years post 9/11, Americans like you are embracing radical Islamic terrorism.

He died like the cowardly snake he was.

No he did not die like an Israeli.

You're correct. Not like an Israeli. Like a slithering snake under a rock.

Like the vermin he was. Good riddance.

IDF says hello. His last few seconds...

They stumbled on to Sinwar after a shootout between Hamas and IDF. They sent a drone into the building, found a figure caked in dust sitting weakly in a chair with fingers on his right hand blown off, and part of his left arm gone and a makeshift tourniquet to keep from losing blood. One wonders if his own grenade went off, injuring him. He weakly tried to throw a stick at the drone, and IDF targeted the room with a tank shell. They sent a drone back in and found the body and it turned out to be Sinwar. Up until then they had no idea.

Sinwar was responsible for the senseless deaths of countless tens of thousands of innocent Palestinian civilians. He accomplished nothing but to incur misery and suffering for Israelis and Palestinians alike. He is no genuine hero, he is no genuine martyr. It is good that he is gone and I hope Hamas stands down and disbands.

Next we need to get Netanyahu out of power, the other one who brought so much misery to both peoples. Elections are coming up.

Watched. 2 take-aways:

- BBC concluded this was NOT, a “targeted assassination.” This is important, because if Israel had specifically targeted terrorist leader Sinwar, and he died as a result, it would be a assassination and a war crime (although, Hamas is not a state actor, so this is not technically a “war.”). And second:

- BBC showed all the absolutely HUGE weapons and machine guns Sinwar had with him during there at the house! i mean, full-on machine guns and assault weapons, plus a massive cache of bullets. This makes no sense, since all of that heavy weaponry is totally banned in Gaza, and could only have illegally been smuggled in.

This really shows the dangerousness and evil of a terrorist like Sinwar, amassing all this advanced weaponry, and just storing it right in the middle of civilian areas.

You mean the IdF put out propaganda?

I think it's just weird that Sinwar was out doing some sort of foot patrol and movements in an area heavily patrolled by Israel. I mean, he's dressed like a low level street fighter. I would've expected him to be long gone by then. I'm curious if he was trying to make his way to the Egyptian border and got caught by a patrol team. Dumb bad luck.

Sinwar’s death is a bonus, but the Iranian regime is the real mastermind here. Sinwar was just a tool.

There are also many Palestinians celebrating Sinwar's death. He wasn't serving four life terms in an Israeli prison for killing Israelis. He was there for killing Palestinians with his bare hands. Sinwar was known as the Butcher of Khan Younis. He literally strangled his opponents to death. It's only dumbass TikTok American progressives that are trying to turn him into Mandela. Elsewhere in the Arab world, Sinwar was despised. This is a great day for Palestinians.

To be fair, the same stupid TikTok American progressives happily wear Che Guevara tshirts even though he happily executed children with gunshots to their faces. So, these aren’t our best and brightest and certainly not our ones with any moral or ethical standards.

I’d love to see your source for that.

“Most victims of his firing squad massacres were Cuban youths in their twenties. Many as young as 16. Some even younger. Carlos Machado was 15 years old in 1963 when the bullets from a Che-commanded firing squad shattered his body. His twin brother and father collapsed beside Carlos from the same volley. All had resisted Castro and Che’s theft of their humble family farm, all refused blindfolds and all died sneering at their Communist murderers, as did thousands of their valiant countrymen. On Christmas Eve 1961 a young Cuban woman named Juana Diaz Figueroa spat in the face of the executioners who were binding and gagging her. They’d found her guilty of feeding and hiding “bandits” (Che Guevara’s term for Cuban rednecks like Carlos Machado who took up arms to fight his theft of their land to create Stalinist kolkhozes.) When the blast from that firing squad demolished her face and torso Juana was six months pregnant.”
