Agree on the optics. I say this as a huge fan otherwise. I also think she would have come across stringer on her own (with Walz doing a separate interview if needed).

The clip on Trump's race comments also seemed like a missed opportunity - it was a very sympathetic question for her. Odd.


Maybe she doesn’t need to rely on identity politics at this point.
