I'm glad they caught him, but the judge that released him was presumably in TX, right? He was caught in TX and sent through the court system in TX. And a judge in TX released him.
It says he was caught and released by border patrol which is under the executive branch... Biden/Harris administration
? I thought the "notice to appear" was from a judge?
Every article I've read says it's CBP/DHS that issues them. That would fall under this administration.

Why do our laws need to change? Seems like we just need more judges at the border and to enforce the laws we currently have. We certainly don’t need laws like they tried to pass recently that would grant legal residency to thousands of people who are here illegally.

DP. Sure, Congress does need to do it's job. That doesn't mean the president has no responsibility. There have been several actions taken by this administration that have created the migrant crisis actively made it worse over several years. The executive branch currently has authority to manage this a lot better than they are. They just don't want to. Flying rapists in unvetted for example is an unforced error and has nothing to do with Congress.
