How are conspiracy theorists not able to tell when someone is lying and manipulating them? I find myself thinking back on my life wondering who was in my past that believed the crazy things people are saying now.
I find the same fascination with people who only view Jan 6 as an “insurrection” and have somehow memory-holed all the LIVE real-time footage that I was watching as it happened (and sharing with me very liberal husband) that showed police holding doors open as people very calmly entered the building as though they were being invited in for a tour…..and other videos of people just casually milling around inside (while at other parts of the building there were some aggressiveness and confrontations happening). It was perplexing at the time even as it was happening as to why this looked as though someone gave an order just to go ahead and open the doors.
And yet—we can’t talk about that or ask about it without being called an extremist??? It was very odd and no one wants to look at it.
Likewise it’s bizarre that no one talks about the pipe bomb outside the DNC that day where VP Harris was! (Even last week she talked about being at the Capitol building on Jan 6 but she wasn’t there in the afternoon. She was at the DNC, and it’s odd that no one is talking about trying to catch the person who placed a pipe bomb outside the DNC and they just have no idea who that is who is responsible for an alleged attempt on the life of the VP, but they know that some 67-year-old Betty from Ohio was walking the halls of the Capitol building that day….
All of it is strange.
