Not in this case. Most of the money would stay in the U.S. where defense companies and their workers would get paid to make stuff that helps Ukraine fight off the Russian invasion.
Most of our arms get stolen or sold to our enemies. Ukraine will sell those arms to Russia just like Israel sold our arms to China without our consent a few years ago. Please learn that grifters take advantage of how stupid our leaders are. I know people here dislike Trump but he isn’t lying about this. He’s a grifter himself so he knows the grift better than anybody else which is why he’s so adept at calling it out . This guy Zelensky is not trustworthy . He reminds me of Hamid Karzai (remember him?) Of course not. He was the supposed crusader of democracy for Afghanistan. We supported him so much . Half of the military aid we gave him ended up with the Taliban. How did this happen? Washington wonders
Blame Cheney's crowd. Oh, right - he was a Republican.
Got news pumpkin. MLRS', M1's and F-16's were all the rage ..... in the 1980's. Do a little homework before making uneducated and uninformed comments.
I am not a Republican nor a Democrat anymore . Look at how you guys respond to comments. It might as well be tyrannical Russia. Freedom of speech and different opinions get finger wagging accusations of being Russian trolls. This is insane.
Nobody’s bothered to retort substantively. US engineered arms are often sold or sent to our enemies and end up in their grips so our military ends up fighting enemies with the same supply. If you don’t know that by now after the umpteenth war, I don’t know what to tell you pumpkin .
The foreign and military aid we give to these countries comes with zero oversight by our officials. We just give weapons all Willy nilly to any Tom Dick or Harry while people in the US struggle to get lawmakers to pass the simplest legislation for the middle class

Russia is collapsing because we’re resisting them, dipshit.
If it’s collapsing, then we don’t need to send Ukraine aid. Let’s pack this thing up and hit the road

Domestically, our politics are dividing us. Economically, the wider the gap in income and national debt will give way to violence, crime, general chaos. Government wise, our stuff is already messy with immigration and health care issues, we will only be more of a mess. Foreign policy wise, I'm not as confident that we'll be number 1 or 2 even because we'll be so weak domestically. Let's face it folks - if it wasn't that we were known as a "superpower" in the world, taken into consideration the strength of our country on a domestic level, we are definitely not even top 10 globally. And the days of having 1 or 2 "superpowers" is not really how things are anymore. Globalization is about partnerships and the world is more complex.
And yet, the US and its allies are trying to maintain those partnerships, while Russia, China and others are fighting against them. The US can still prevail, but unless or until we can figure out how government can "regulate" disinformation and how we can get money out of our politics, it will be a tough battle, but one worth fighting.
Prevail at what? Russia China and Iran shouldn’t have become an Alliance in the first place. Russia shouldve been our friend. We pushed them to China by stupidly wanting to expand NATOs borders eastward and stating this In 2008. For what? Europeans don’t like to fight . Why did we have to expand NATO eastward? What for? It was only to provoke Russia. We didn’t like when Russians put soldiers in our backyard in Cuba so how did we ever expect expanding NATO and the EU would make them feel?
Our biggest threat is actually China not Russia and we pushed Russia to China by being stupid . China , a very smart country, must be glad at our foolishness.
Yep, the Thucydides trap says we're going to have to fight China. So the question becomes, if you have an inevitable conflict with China ahead, do you want Russia on your side or theirs?
We would never be able to take down the Nazis without Russia. Just like the first two world wars, we need Russia on our side but it’s too late now.
Our government is ran by foolish parties who think a hot war with Russia is something we can easily win .
lol. Still living in WWII? You Russians really need to focus internally or you'll lost control over your own country. Bye bye.
