Didn't take you long. You must have an alert set for shower posts.

Admit it, you're the 3 times a day underwear changer.

OP, it's perfectly fine to not shower every day. Ignore these nutjobs.

Look, just because you are nose blind to your own pungent funk doesn't mean others don't notice it.

DP here. I have one teen that needs a daily shower and one that doesn’t. Sorry nuance is hard for you.

Just says one of your kids is inactive and lazy.

Jesus woman. You are a massive b1tch.

x1 million

WTF is wrong with you?

Facts. If you are sweating then shower. Get some exercise it will help you! Many more benefits than being so lazy you never break a sweat and would rarely need a shower. That is nothing to brag about.

That doesn’t answer the question: WTF is wrong with you?

- shower daily

Keep trying. No doctor recommends to not exercise to avoid showering.

I never claimed that. I exercise. I shower.

The question was: WTF is wrong with you? Why are such a massive B?

how do you know how often people shower?

i have 3 kids. the oldest showers every other day. the middle one showers every day, often twice a day. guess which one stinks?

Why would we take your word for it? You’re probably used to the smells and funk that others aren’t.

Give it a rest troll.

There are some posts in diet and exercise that could use your “wisdom”.

You can take a rest. Nobody cares about your eczema and your inability to exercise or ever break a sweat. Healthy active people have different hygiene habits and standards.

What are you taking about? OP ASKED if people think teens need to shower daily and most people are saying yes. If you disagree, bc YOU don’t like to shower daily, ok. No one cares what you do personally

It should be daily. On occasion not daily is fine but it should be rare: ill, traveling, etc.

Yeah they also say to lotion up because you just removed all of the oils from the skin. Unless your kid is really dirty, it’s not necessary.

I feel like people insisting on every day lump everyone else with the Kutchers, who I don't judge, but can see it would be a problem with my family.

Many states have had restrictions in the past with shower head flow rates and usage. That will be a really sad reality if it comes but I think people can adapt.

DCUM's collective head would explode if it ever came to that. It won't but I would love to see it happen.

Anonymous wrote:Its cultural. I’m from Colombia and people will dismay if someone says they don’t shower daily. Teachers will absolutely call the parents if a child reveals non-daily showers at school, no matter the age (even in pre-school). And it has to be in the morning. Evening showers are frowned upon.

I am the immigrant PP who said it’s cultural - see, here’s proof for y’all!

Yeah? Well, you know, that's just like uh, your opinion, man.

That guy doesn’t like to shower either.

And?

Do you get hygiene tips from The Dude?

At this point, I'd rather get them from the Dude than you. He is a much happier person.
