She lucked into the Hermione role, which propelled her to stardom despite no acting ability.

Those are really great movies despite her acting. When I watch them I always think about how her part could have been differently cast. Now her daughter is getting into the business.
I agree, I can't stand her.
I liked Andie in 4 Weddings and, let's be honest, it's not like Hugh Grant was doing much acting in that movie either. I also thought Andie was actually decent in the film she did with her daughter recently. But apparently that's just me.

Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:I actually think that was 90% the fault of George Lucas. Because Natalie Portman is a good actress IMO but her Padme was horrible. Even a good chunk of Ewan McGregor’s scenes were weird. I think they all gave what George asked for.Anonymous wrote:Hayden Christiansen is so hard to watch. It makes sense he isn’t really acting anymore. He’s terrible at it!
Natalie Portman in Black Swan was great. I didn't like her in the Star Wars films but I hated almost everyone in them. Glad I'm not alone.
Anonymous wrote:After Aquaman, it became painfully obvious that Amber Heard can't act and has probably gotten by on looks & the casting couch. Welp, that didn't work out so good.

He was the worst performance in A Knight's Tale too, and that's generally an adorable movie.
I normally wouldn't say anything mean, but then he did laugh at Depp's texts about burning/r*ping Heard's corpse so whatever man, I'm not going to spare your feelings. Paul Bettany is a really low-rent actor and shouldn't get top billing on big budget movies.
I liked him in Wimbledon with Kirsten Dunst
Speaking of, I think Kirsten Dunst is a terrible actress.

Meryl and Julia are also unwatchable.
Nicholas Cage.
He just won an Emmy last night, didn’t he?
DP, but do you know how many untalented jerks have won Emmys, Oscars, and Golden Globes? A hell of a lot. There've been a few articles over the decades about how rigged most awards ceremonies are. And if the available pool of candidates for a particular award isn't very high caliber in a particular year...well, they have to give the award to someone. Part of why I never follow awards shows.
