Thanks to the posters who recommended Big Swiss. I was skeptical that I would enjoy a book whose premise seems stalkerish. The end didn't pack as much power but I really loved the first 7/8 of the book.

Someone is working on a screen adaption with Florence Pugh playing Molly. Let's hope the screenwriters can fix that mess.

It was one of those books that made me go to goodreads and look at the 1 and 2 star reviews just to make sure I wasn't nuts. It was getting so much attention and fanfare, but I felt it was so, so poorly done.

I listened to a collection of short stories by Jojo Moyes. It was called "Paris for one and other stories", published in 2016. They were all good but one story, which was called Crocodile Shoes, stuck out to me because it is a short version of her new book, "Someone else's shoes".
