And what do think public reaction will be if they do this? It's one thing to be a sociopath like Stephen (Goebbels) Miller or Jeffrey Craig, and another to be a member of Congress only interested in reelection.
Have you read the outline of what all fifty GOP think tanks have planned for the country in Project 2025? You’re excused from reading the whole several hundred pages, but at least read the outlines. They’re planning on an executive order making almost all the non partisan government positions into partisan positions and firing everyone, then replacing them with extremist GOP (who have already signed up!). Tuberville’s refusal to approve military promotions is a two fold benefit for Republicans: they’re hoping that a weaker military will get attacked, giving the GOP a way to attack the Democrats as “weak on security” and that they can then fill all those leadership roles with party faithful who will put their allegiance to the party over their allegiance to their country. They are planning on using the Insurrection Act, emboldened by a military who will take orders on a partisan basis.
So it doesn’t really matter what “public reaction” would be. Have your reaction now. Take the threat as seriously as it should be.

I'm really enjoying the entertainment from democrats. Are you not amused about how wild progressives are getting.
Even if I didn't like Trump (which I do), I would vote for him on that reason alone. Have a nice day.
Great, watch the country implode so you can "own the libs". WTF is wrong with you?
The obvious point PP was making is that many see through your continued hysteria and simply take it for entertainment purposes.
For all we know the world won't end when/ if Trump gets elected. Same as if/ when Biden gets elected, even if the guy has proven to be much worse than expected.
Yeah right. Did you actually read Project 2025's manifesto? This isn't some fringe group, this is the leadership of Trump's reelection campaign. Trump is openly channeling his favorite dictators and you think it's all an act to get Dems wound up? Wake the F up.
Maybe you were born yesterday, but all of us who were alive back in 2016 remember the constant hysteria and crazy things said about Trump, the guy who did NOT get involved in any war as opposed to the current trigger-happy dude.
Yes, they said “crazy” things like he would overturn Roe, refuse to leave power peacefully if he lost, cozy up to dictators and weaken our alliances. Totally crazy stuff. Glad we didn’t believe any of that!

Maybe because the right's idea of criminal justice reform is actually authoritarian?
The right is concerned that politicians are using law enforcement illegitimately to take political prisoners.
In other words, most Republicans think that the Biden Administration is currently doing exactly what the left says Trump will *potentially* do.
You can't do the thing, and also claim the thing is authoritarian if other people do it.
In any case, it appears that what Trump is actually saying is that he will prosecute people who do illegal things. That isn't authoritarian.
Those Republicans are not living in reality. Full stop.
No, actually, full go! We have the dossier which turns out was made up and purchased 50/50 by the Clinton campaign and the DNC (that is well documented in testimony from John Podesta under discovery).
We have Russia collusion which turned out to be a nothing burger.
We have the Biden's washing laundered money from foreign countries through shell companies to hide the trail. What are other countries getting in return for all that money they're giving to the Bidens? No one can seem to tell us that. What? Ukraine, China, Russia, and Romania just give millions to the Bidens for nothing? Pleeze. As Hillary once famously stated "This would require a suspension of disbelief".
There you go proving you’re only partially informed and not living in reality.

No, he saying he is out to get anyone who isn't kneeling and bowing before him.
You are such a hack.
