Look at some of the streeteries along Wisconsin Ave north of Macomb St. They stick out into the busy roadway and appear as if they’ve been damaged in mortar fire.

They may have written in support of the application in 2020 ( they had their own streatery then..) but that does not mean the establishment ( Rosemary's Bistro) has presumed ongoing support. They are also making a huge mistake by allowing their defensiveness and arrogance to leak into what should be a legal discussion.
If you think the people who run those businesses aren’t saavy enough to know how to work the system, you don’t know them like I do. If that could be done, they wouldn’t be wasting good money-making time with a petition.
