I had a nice lunch at Rosemary's today, sitting in the shade of their streetery while I read a book. Fun times.

I am strongly opposed to this horrible street eating monstrosity because it detracts immeasurably from the viewshed of the majestic beauty of the Exxon Station.

Francophobia is the new black. I think the term you’re looking for is American.

Frederic, you're trying too hard.

Look at some of the streeteries along Wisconsin Ave north of Macomb St. They stick out into the busy roadway and appear as if they’ve been damaged in mortar fire.

The neighboring businesses should write to DDOT to rescind their authorization so the extension is paused. They may have written in support of the application in 2020 ( they had their own streatery then..) but that does not mean the establishment ( Rosemary's Bistro) has presumed ongoing support. They do not.

They are also making a huge mistake by allowing their defensiveness and arrogance to leak into what should be a legal discussion.

If you think the people who run those businesses aren’t saavy enough to know how to work the system, you don’t know them like I do. If that could be done, they wouldn’t be wasting good money-making time with a petition.

That streatery is not an attractive feature but I’d actually love a couple more curb lane bump-outs on CT Ave. Slow everyone down a bit.
