Thinking the same thing. I would assume not all will accept CLC O. If Pride only loses 5-7 vs 10+ in the prior 2 years that could be a very good team when they add some others who did not make CLC.
Very unlikely anyone from 27 Pride Red is going back to 27 Pride Red. That team was a mess. I imagine Stars will be the landing spot for the ones that didn't make Blue or Orange.
Okay Stars dad. Why would they go to Stars? Both teams were already vastly inferior to Pride, and they just got much worse. There really is no Stars team left.
Actually, a Pride 27 Red Mom. Talk to anyone on the team. Lots of micro issues that have added up to a larger issue(s). Many will be happy to leave, even if Stars isn't incredible.
So if your kid is on the team, I’ll ask you. What are the issues? Please be specific. Just saying there are issues is meaningless. All clubs have issues.
And what makes you think Stars doesn’t have the same or worse issues? There have been lots of complaints on this board about Stars management and coaching. And now that the best Stars players are gone, what is left? They were much worse than Pride before those kids left.
And Stars has no recruiting track record. Their 2025 team is ranked 135, so that is not going to change anytime soon.
Maybe not but Stars has Kathy Jenkins and Kristen Carr. Recruiting is allllll about relationships and between those two they know EVERYONE in college lacrosse. If a girl shows promise they can get her committed.

"A mess"? On what basis? Strong, motivating coaches. Ranked in top 25. Beat Stars 11-4 in October. Just spraying nonsense.

If Pride is a sinking ship then Stars is the Titanic.
I mean they did take on the extra dead weight of MCE to make sure they sink all they way down and can nuzzle up right next to it.
Stars also took on a team from Pride who ended up missing out on NGLL due to whatever happened at Pride and from what I could tell those families and players looked happy to have been taken care of by Kristen Carr and the team at ST James.
My daughter is on her way out of Stars and the experience had its ups and downs but worked out well for us. Many of those issues were based around an acquisition and covid, but as we leave the program I would invite any 2027 to tryout and be the the team that changes the pecking order at the High School level in the DMV.
All you sour MF-ers can kick rocks - I want all these girls to see success no matter the club or school. The way you all talk about CHILDREN says more about you than it say about any club.
Why is your daughter leaving? Why isn’t she willing to be a part of “the team that changes the pecking order at the High School level in the DMV?”
Because she made capital you sour MFer....
Okay, so if she didn’t believe that Stars could change the pecking order, then why should anyone else? And you’re the one that seems sour, swearing at others for no reason. Don’t understand why you’re so sour if your girl made Capital. Try to enjoy it instead of kicking others down.
I hate when people use the use of cuss words to dismiss a point - I literally wished every kid the best of luck no matter club or school, and would love to see a STARS high school team that competes at the highest level.
Way to try and make yourself a victim - I’ll repeat it cuss word free for you I wish every kid the best of luck no matter club or school, and would love to see a STARS high school team that competes at the highest level.

Not the responding poster, but it is kind of a tough argument to make that Stars is going to be a great landing spot for high school when you are leaving for greener pastures (and kind of identifying yourself within a small pool in the process). The cuss words didn't impact your argument, just made it less classy (especially when you just kind of identified yourself).
That said, glad to hear you defend your daughter's former club and its efforts to create a good playing and development environment for these girls. I share your best wishes for all of them. Great sport, great life lessons on resilience, teamwork, and the rewards of hard work.
