For some, having them in school is actually healthier. If there is no adult at home to keep them inside, they are better off at school. Parents who have the means and feel their child is safer at home should keep them home. Just because the school is open doesn’t mean you have to send them.
I hate that all the special activities are in jeopardy or canceled, that sucks. But I dont really think closing is an inherently safer decision.
