Prigozhin reminds me a bit of Napoleon, he was out on the front lines with his men. He was anti-establishment, criticizing the military & IC elites in Moscow comfortably enjoying their lives.

They are not retreating just attacking in another direction(against form allies).

This all seems a bit of an extreme way to save face and withdraw.

Most Russians are nationalists. He has a solid play on that. He will have popular support. The FSB will check the wind temperature and go where they need to go

He's obviously smart. I mean all those other rich Russians got thrown (fell) out of windows so looks like Prigozhin figured out a good defense to that is to have your own private army of loyal troops.

When the guns are pointed *AT* the military district headquarters, as they are in that video, I'm pretty sure it's not a video of the Russian Army's tanks taking up a defensive posture. Also there are a bunch of other videos showing them surrounding the HQ, with people pointing out that some of the vehicles are custom modified versions only in use by Wagner.

They might or might not fire. Even if they do, I highly doubt they will get far. Not because I think highly of the Russian army but because I don’t think highly of them.
