My 10 year old asked me what my favorite meme was when I was a kid. I tried to explain that memes didn't exist. Which he didn't understand. But then I said I guess "What you talkin about, Willis?" Was my favorite meme.

There's a great story about someone's tiny mother buying Queen size panty hose, because Queen Elizabeth was tiny so she thought they'd fit. The crotch was swinging around by her knees!

I don't know how to post a picture, but international long distance phone calls used to be a huge production. And crazily expensive, too!

Can someone explain what this is.

These were bracelets you could get (got mine from a friend whose dad worked at the Pentagon) with the name and date of MIA, captured, maybe KIA Viet Nam soldiers. My mom was furious that I got one, and it sort of disappeared. I was only 7 or 8, so I may have lost it. I think my mom threw it out. The war was very controversial, but my parents HATED communism, so thought the US was justified being over there getting our young men killed.
