No one will even work with that con artist except for a bunch of MAGA outcasts. So it could be a lot worse. Good luck.
His wife and kids left the country and Fetterman is severely depressed, unable to communicate normally, and alone in the hospital.
He’s fighting for his physical and mental wellbeing, and no one is getting any representation out of him, of any quality.
That makes two of the Democrat Senators completely out of the loop - Fetterman and Feinstein. Not a great look, to be honest. Both should be kicked to the curb so replacements with functioning brains can actually govern.
They are most definitely of higher quality. Look at the quality of the staff they are able to attract and get back to us.
The staff are NOT elected. Fetterman was the one elected. If he is unable to serve, he should step down.

This is ridiculous. I’m a Democrat and I say Fetterman owes his constituents more than this. He owes specific details and actual honesty about his fitness. Occupying a seat without being able to fulfill its duties AND without a clear explanation as to when/why is unacceptable. If an R did this, I’d want a special election called yesterday.
Well dream on. You just need to look at Santos. Once elected...that is the end of it. You can literally be a scheming criminal and not lose your seat.

George Santos is not on the senate.

As a Pennsylvanian, I am good with Fetterman. He has staff and support and he will continue to get things done - and he is not even remotely the only legislator to have suffered a stroke and remained in office.
His staff weren’t elected to be a Senator. He was.
And he still is the Senator. It's not like he's comatose. Get a grip. There have been many members of Congress who stayed in office after suffering a stroke.
Even if he’s comatose, he’s still the senator. Sheesh.
