Very ignorant view. There are members that are much more severly impacted and compromised than Fetterman and they are still serving and intend to serve.

He’ll be back just as soon as he is better. Suffering a stroke while campaigning is tough. In the meantime his staff will keep the chains moving, as they do for most offices.

Why his wife left him hospitalized and took their kids out of the country to Canada is a big mystery. Wouldn’t your direly depressed spouse who checked himself into the hospital need you? As a Pennsylvanian, I am good with Fetterman. He has staff and support and he will continue to get things done - and he is not even remotely the only legislator to have suffered a stroke and remained in office.
