Gregorios!

I just don’t like it. The pasta is over cooked, overly greasy. the knots bread is always hard as a rick. Prices are high. Now they are opening another location. I don’t get it. place is way overrated

If you live in Westover or Cherrydale and this happens to be your neighborhood sandwich and pizza joint? Well, it’s pretty amazing to have one this good! It’s probably not a place to drive a half an hour or more for. We are in Westover and love it.

People in Arlington only think it is good because they have no competition. If you had the option to go to a real Italian deli like the ones in other parts of tge country, you would realize how overpriced and overhyped the Italian Store is.

I also agree Italian Store is too expensive for the quality.

The Italian Deli in N. Arlington is much better.

Are you talking about deli Italiano? Bc that place is vile.

No, no. Not Deli Italiano.

Founding Farmers, has terrible service, stupid restaurant covid recovery fee, the only thing half decent is the brunch which you can just tip 5%

I agree with Rasika. I really like Indian food but they don't seem to be doing much more interesting or unusual to justify the hype and price.

No District Taco needs to be there. There was a thread recently about how their quality has tanked. Used to be a gem. Not so much anymore.
taco bamba is the best

It's a chain, I wouldn't expect greatness.

Maybe FF remains popular in the same way as Nickelback?

+1. I’ve lived in DC for 22 years and still can’t get over how bad the food is. Almost always disappointed.

I like Sfoligna, Rasika and 2Amys but haven’t been to them in a long time.

I went to FF in Reston recently. It’s horrible, expensive for what it is, and I’m incomprehensibly popular.

I’ve never had a good meal at Le Dip.
J Gilberts is certainly not high end…it’s where to go for a family meal.

Those of you that don't like Le Dip, have you ever had their brunch? I absolutely LOVE their brunch food. The warm shrimp salad, the mushroom soup, half baked chicken, omelets...all so good! I did go for dinner one time and did not care for the food, so now I only going for brunch. If you are not a Le Dip fan, try the brunch and see if it changes your opinion.

They were out of some menu items and the portions were huge and unappealing. The only good thing was the service. When it opened in Park Potomac, we went there frequently and it was fine. Not sure what’s going on.

Hate FF. So overrated. So expansive. Food is average at best.

And they charge a 5 % wellness fee. Sucks!

Any place you have to line up for, by definition.

After this review, is it really overrated? I've neither heard or read anything positive about it.

Exactly. It is really difficult for it to be overrated when it is so widely panned. Not sure why its still in business. Or is it?

Pay wall. Please summarize for those who cannot access it.
