Seriously? I thought SJC was strong.

The DID beat St. Johns... St. John's Catholic Prep out of Frederick that is.. That's not saying much.

At today’s matchup at SJC, AHC players all wore “Behan Strong” warm-up shirts to show solidarity and support for SJC Basketball Coach Behan, who is battling ALS.

Brava, AHC. It was a beautiful display of grace and kindness.

I couldn’t agree with this more! What an amazing site to see. #behanstrong

Holy Child varsity team is a JV team. There are girls on that team that don't know how to catch the ball. Good coach, but there isn't a lot of meat. SR is stacked, but why blow out another team like that? Hopefully they subbed and had the JV girls playing as well with that kind of a score.

Good Counsel is having a great season too - SJC is very strong and SSSA and SR have stellar squads too. Perhaps we are not as consistently strong as the MD IAAM Aleague, but I say yay us!

"Us?" Are you a coach?

No! Us = players, families, coaches, clubs, schools---everyone who contributes to the success of the teams.

Wait, you're all of those? Or are you a parent of a girl who plays lacrosse? I am a mom of D1 athlete who devoted a lot of time to driving that player around their whole life. You are over-invested.

Geez, give it a rest, D1 lax mom. smh.

Never said D1 lax. I have a HS lacrosse player, but there is no way I would be able to sit with lacrosse parents and watch this sport for another four years. College kid plays much interesting, athletic sport.

i’m sure it’s soccer with the most miserable parents and players.

Probably softball…

Hahaha. Definitely not. Though, if you were into sports at all, you would know that, at the high college level, those are some serious athletes. Have you ever watched college softball? Very devoted, hard-working athletes. Anyway, as far as sports parents, I would not say that lacrosse has the high ground here, folks. I mean, just listen to yourselves. Are you all living vicariously through your children?
