She is keeping her seat on committees led by the Democratic majority, per her spokesperson. She said she doesn’t plan to do anything differently at work, just that she will now do it as an independent and not a Democrat.

She cleared with Schumer to keep her committee assignments. That’s caucusing with the Democrats.

Depends on what that means. I think I read that she would not attend Democrats' weekly caucus meetings, which reportedly she didn't do much anyways.
I think she is still voting with them on all procedural issues.
Bernie Sanders and Angus King are reported as caucusing with Democrats. Do they attend these meetings?
They certainly get Democrats' seats on committees.

It's the same effect. If the votes for the new Senate's organization are 50 to 49 to 1, the 50 wins. She's said she expects to keep her committee assignments and Schumer has said she will keep her committee assignments. If she screws over the democrats, then she's going to have to hope that the republicans give her one of their seats because the democrats sure wont
