she got into dartmouth in Dec 2021. all the ivies release their restrictive early action results the same week and the kids post their results to instagram. My ncs kid and friends clearly remember this girl.
she was the only dartmouth admit and one of just a handful of NCS ivy admits that week.
You can't post about it online and then expect people won't remember it.

As I understand it, at the Big 3 there were a lot of deferrals from early decision/early action last year - and things tended to work out a little better in regular decision. That’s not bad college counseling - all these kids know to apply early - that’s just the reality in college admissions these days.
It’s rough out there, but it sure helps to be a legacy or to have a hook.

They are saying a handful admitted in the early round. Only about 70-75 in the class and I think about a dozen ended up at ivies but lots of hooks.
