This is so condescending. I'm not sure if it was intended but borderline offensive to kids who go to public schools. 'Even public school girls can send a kid to a D1 program'.
There is a HUGE difference in a girl going to Visitation and a girl going to public school. No ands, ifs or buts about that. The academic rigor at some (not all) private schools is so much harder. Hence the reason you’ll see Visi girls going to Norte Dame and public school girls going to JMU.
You’re obviously not from this area.
If you were you’d never post anything like this.
Because you’d know Visi had a very different reputation back in the day.
The OG Visi alums know it.
And they are far more humble about it.
Especially those who send their kids there now.
The alums I know would be horrified if they read what you’ve written here.
Always funny to see Visi nouveau parents chest pound.
I went to a DMV private school and send my kids to one now.
I wouldn’t dare write anything remotely as elitist as what you’ve posted.
My kids’ school doesn’t teach division. It doesn’t promote superiority.
Neither did mine.
Enjoy that ivory tower. The rest of our kids (private and public) will be killing it in the real world.

Bravo for this and thank you for posting. My daughter would have loved to have gone to a private school but we can’t afford it. But trust me, the education she has gotten is excellent and will prepare her

Call me the next time Notre Dame wins the ACC championship or even a NCAA playoff game in lacrosse.
Don’t flatter yourself Notre Dame is not an ivy, it’s not even Stanford. Is visi better than public? Sure why not you get what you pay for.
Anonymous wrote:Again, if a player goes to visi or any private school and a girl goes to public school and they end up at the same college playing go for the same team, at that point, there is no difference. Both kids have a shot at making their college experience their own and carving off their own path. College is what you make of it whether you came from private or public schools. Private school parents gotta get over this stigma that they are so so better and on another level than others. Just because you pay for private school, doesn’t mean your child is guaranteed a spot at a top college.

Whats the huge difference besides the $35,000 you spend to make yourself feel like you're getting a better education? Also off the top of my head (and the Capital fandom here can help me) didn't public school girls on Cap Blue 2022 go to Georgetown, Bowdoin and Colby at a minimum? Get over yourself.
