Anyone paying the barest scrap of attention can see that it’s not just (“just”) stripping constitutional rights, it’s a move to enslave women and move them to a permanent second class status. No jobs that men want, no rights, no power, no vote. They’ve talked about this.

It’s part of the same thing. Women don’t move more than men do, but the numbers suggest that women are registering in their new residence right away. College women registering at their school location also figures into this. The point is that women are registering in much higher numbers than men and that mirrors their motivation to vote.

The states that are seeing huge spikes aren’t in places masses as moving to.

I havent read the entire thread. So not sure if this has been brought up. But a LOT of people moved over the past couple years. And women are more likely to vote, full stop. I would be counted as a woman who registered as a "new voter." This is because I moved to a new state and needed to register. This isnt because I was motivated by Dobbs.
