The younger team is in B. And getting demolished. They only have TWO teams total below high school. The 27 team will be lucky to win 2 games. At least MCE has teams. So like I said. It could be worse.
It is also a mixed team 31/32 playing in a 31 bracket. Also, Haight filters his better girls into Renegades which is also his club and they are 8-10 with a +6 GD.
Agreed Renegades seems to be much better (but as I understand has it's own director). Not too many Renegades head to GC. Again, Rebels seems to be in bad shape and he'd be better off merging the programs. He has a pipeline to GC that he doesn't take advantage of. How many girls from Rebels/Renegades even see the field at GC? Seems like Rebels/Renegades should have so much potential, but leadership seems to be more concerned with tourney $$$.

Why on earth would both go A this year.
28 just dropped out of the A bracket...Parents must have been vocal to leadership and demanded a change.
Wait someone there actually listened? Really?![]()
Or like every year, NGLL didn't actually put the trans in the right bracket until they started putting the schedule together and they always wanted one team in A and one team in B.
Wrong. They had the MCE Midnight in A and MCE Carolina in B. Now MCE Midnight is gone from A while Carolina is still in B.
I don't believe this statement to be correct if you look at the MCE website they only have one team for that age group listed and it is listed as Midnight. So did JR just decide that the 28-midnight team was not at the A level and listed them as Carolina instead when registering for the NGLL to have them play in the B bracket but want everyone to believe they are in fact an A level team by not changing it on their website?
Think what you want. When player registration first opened and the Divisions were shown, there were 15 teams in both the A and B divisions. A few weeks later, right before Registration was closing, 2 MCE teams were added, 1 to A and 1 to B to make 16 teams in each. Now the MCE team is gone from A but the MCE team remains in the B division. Guess this is hard for some to understand.
It's not about thinking how we want it's about facts and the facts are that MCE has only shown one 28 team on the MCE website since tryouts and players were assigned to teams and that one team has only been and currently is listed as Midnight so how is there an A and B team?
That one 28 team is playing in the B division of the NGLL and is in fact listed as Carolina in tourney machine yet according to the MCE website that one team in is a Midnight team meaning the clubs A team but hey are playing in a B division...
So the question I would pose is if this 28 team is playing in the B bracket and NGLL is listing them as Carolina the MCE B team why would and is MCE be indicating to the players and parents that this team is an A team by listing it as Midnight?
i guess its hard for some to understand...
I just checked and Tourney Machine is only listing the team as MC Elite...no Carolina or Midnight.
So MCE had the NGLL remove the Carolina title from tourney machine after someone read the conversations going on here but the fact remains that MCE has the Midnight (A team) as per the MCE website playing in a B division...
It's obvious someone from MCE is reading this and made a ninja edit with NGLL. That is not a good indicator of a good club.
My thoughts exactly why not just be upfront and honest that the club is not what it once. On top of that they need to be honest about that they mainly have B level teams who sometimes play in B+ brackets and even then they aren’t super competitive most of the time. And a lot of that is due to inconsistent and or poor coaching with the exception of a couple of the teams.
