It’s club lacrosse - parents are focused on their daughter’s success and future (and hopefully their teammate’s as well). Capital is focused on fielding the two best teams they can each year, and then helping them reach their goals. Regardless of where those players come from.

As you can see, these facts aren't well taken here. The same DA keeps commenting and posting about the 23s over and over. Here's a hint, we get it and congrats to those players, but who cares. Maryland clubs get that every year, year in and year out. But hey keep repeating yourself like the JB you are.

The BLC 28 team is worse than most low level rec teams. Pride has some talented teams and seems to develop the best right now. Stars is such a disaster, it's amazing players continue to go there and they continue to exist. If your top feeder clubs for MS all are on the decline and aren't developing talent like they should, then how do you expect those Capital teams to be competitive?

3...2...1... on how long it takes for a response about how MD dads are shaking about the Capital pipeline. Guess what, the people commenting here aren't MD dads.

It is amazing how uniformed people on this site say ridiculous things. The BLC program has been great with parent coaches. Yes the 2023 BLC team led to many successful recruits including Northwestern, UVA and Harvard who currently play for Capital.

Are you referring to the BLC partnership from a few years back that pipelined three 2023 midfielders to Capital who committed to Northwestern, UVA and Harvard?

I think it depends on the year - be careful of listening to advice about other grad years. I would imagine that 26 capital will be mostly stars and pride, with a few Baltimore girls who return and a few from other clubs such as MCE or other MoCo clubs. Next level and BLC not strong in that grad year (though a player or two could always make it). I think the landscape could be different in other years.

Does this put stars and pride girls at a disadvantage behind BLC girls when trying out for Capital?

Doesn’t Capital already have a relationship with Stars? Makes sense for Capital to work with BLC to feed from MOCO and Stars to feed from NOVA.

Capital used to have a relationship with Stars. That basically ended when TSJ bought Stars and launched a HS team. BLC and Pride are now the primary feeders to Capital. Cap 25s took 60 percent+ Pride girls. Capital can’t formalize a relationship with Pride because Pride has a HS team and Pride wants its players to continue with its program thru HS. But Pride develops players better than Stars, and Pride girls know to get recruited to a good school Capital is by far the better option.
