If our kids will be in school then we're happy they're in the school they're in because we feel that they are as safe as they can be made from the virus given the circumstances. If masks start coming off, we'll reevaluate. Until then, we hope things continue as they are.

Wow - I just find this so hard to believe based on what is see at my elementary school a mile from there. It kind of sounds like your son is telling you what you want hear and the judgement of the unmasked kids is completely over the top.

Oh, okay, yeah, I definitely didn't know where you were going with your comment, so good thing I asked for clarification. And I'm confused? Is your son saying only POC aren't wearing masks? That hasn't been my experience.

DP but I have to chime in here. Do you work in public health? I do. Vax rates for AAs are a fraction of what they are for Caucasians and Asians. That's data. If you want to disagree with hard numbers, be my guest.

I find it incredibly interesting that so much of the left is simultaneously clinging to their masks like life rafts, constantly rallying for racial justice issues but completely defensive when its pointed out that AAs don't vax or mask even close to rates that whites do.

So you concede that they vax less, but want to claim that they mask equally? That's... odd. Especially given what we all witness on a daily basis.

This typifies what the left is all about. Instead of working to help the AA community, you deny the truths about their failings.
