Hahaha. As soon as I heard the news, I thought, well that's it for going south on 95 on the weekends. Even worse for games on weeknights.
It's not like I95 is a major north south route or anything. /s
It would make more sense to put it in Richmond and rename the team.

When did Snyder say he was going to build a stadium in Fairfax? I've always heard it was Loudoun or Prince William.
Anyways, I'm glad legislature seems poised to stick it to a toxic owner and -- at best -- a mediocre team.

What worked was the reporting of the where Synder bought land. He’s been pretending that he planned to build the stadium in Fairfax when it was a lie all along. Now his biggest supporter doesn’t like being treated like a chump and has bailed on him.
When you’re unethical, this is what happens.

Snyder wanted to build a Prince William version of National Harbor with a football stadium. The best part is that he would have gotten a piece of the tax revenue from the entire thing while the stadium authority would be on the hook for the financing.
