Just looked at rosters for both UA Command and Highlight and AS 23-25. Not good except the AS ‘25. Outcomes were predictable but guess the evaluators only cared about getting their players on teams, not about those teams actually representing the area well. It’s really sad what these supposed all stars teams are from the DC-VA area.

Not surprising on the hero ball, especially with lower level club players on the teams trying to "prove" they belong.

Can you expand on your comment. Why were better players able to shine at UA? If they were given the opportunity to stand out why didn’t the results reflect this? Are you suggesting there were players holding others back? Did you attend both the UA and AS games — what makes you say AS was hero ball? Was this a particular age group or all age groups?

And, that new one EPoCH juniors - this is just another money grab event. The kids that were "invited" to that weekend and participated were not "the best"

Yes, UA had 2nd, 3rd and 4th rated platers in the 25s age bracket anyway. I mean kids who play for a club ranked in the 80s and 108 were selected to participate? Ummmm. Why those families chose to participate is not easily understood.
