Hootie and the Blowfish played a Halloween party there before their first big hit. Remember thinking they were a fun band, but not much else... and had no idea I'd seen them play live until I noticed the name on a plastic souvenir cup I still use to scoop our dog's kibble out of the bin.

Hootie & the BF used to play at the Balcony (ToTs) when I was at Va Tech.

My dad took me there when “vegetarian” was a novelty .

I loved the FAO Schwartz and going to Georgetown Mall with my mom and dad back when it was new and beautiful.

I loved going to movies at The Biograph. I still wince whenever I go by that CVS that replaced it. Such great art house and foreign films! Now the closest place for me is Bethesda Cinema.
