Wasn't Biden supposed to be a Ukraine expert? Wasn't he going to rebuild our relationship with our NATO allies?
Of all foreign policy issues it seems like this is one he would be able to handle like a pro.
Why does it look like more uncoordinated flailing?
Putin wouldn’t invade Ukraine if there was a strong US president. Biden is perceived as being a weak buffoon distracted by birds and killing time every week until he can go home to Delaware.
It's the opposite. Putin was counting on Trump to win a second term. Trump was threatening to pull out of NATO and pull US troops out of Germany. Don't you remember any of this?
I’m a DP, but you make you zero sense. Don’t you remember what happened with Syria?? Don’t you remember the last time Putin invaded Ukraine and seized Crimea? It was under Obama and Putin knows he can get away with it again because Biden will let him. Trump was going to pull out of NATO when other countries weren’t paying their fair share. That was eons ago. The Democrats chastised Trump, but he was absolutely right and because of his actions NATO countries contributed more and NATO is now in a place of strength.

they are smart and hard working.
Would solve a lot of inflation issues here.
Anonymous wrote:Lol. Russia is now threatening Japan. I thought Putin was supposed to be smart? What a complete self-own.

Napolean's France and Hitler's Nazi Germany. We effectively have no southern border [2m in 2021?], National Guard will be deployed as teachers, regular Army is deployed to hospitals, inflation about 7%, USA's largest city will have foreign nationals including Chinese and Russians at the UN to vote in local elections... if legally present in the USA for 30 days and able to work how does that exclude UN workers who are Chinese and Russian and North Koreans?
And our cities are asking for federal help due to massive crime levels. https://www.wbaltv.com/article/baltimore-police-department-asks-for-100-federal-agents-to-assist-in-fighting-violent-crime/37105957# New orleans to deputize municipal employees in departments like sanitation and rodent control

So the USA is sending 80 tons plus of weapons to the Ukraine. Some has arrived https://twitter.com/oleksiireznikov/status/1485322906674544640
That is the twitter account of the Minister of Defence of the Ukraine. So Nazis did end up in USSR POW camps in Siberia. The USA was not on the Eastern front in WW2-USSR fighting from the east to west for years before any US troops landed on D Day and moved west to east. Allies converged on Germany with the USSR first to get to Berlin.
This potential debacle?
What's wrong with Nazis in USSR POW camps?
Do you need a refresher on what the Nazis did to the USSR POWs?

Anonymous wrote:Russia now has about 100,000 troops sitting on Ukraine’s border, and is sending strong signals it will invade as soon as the weather reaches the right moment. Russia is filling Ukraine media with all sorts of misinformation and fake news in advance of an attack. Biden is working with many other countries to discourage Russian aggression and warn of economic sanctions these countries will impose. Biden does not have many choices here.
The Trumpublicans - led by FoxNews - are of course supporting their Russian masters in all this, and saying the US should just let Russia invade other countries without consequence. More traditional Republicans are saying the US should send military support to Ukraine. No matter what Biden does, they’re all sure to try to blame him if Russia invades.
Are there any good options?
