I'll scratch you off my list for my "Happy Holidays" cards going out today...or maybe tomorrow....

I send holiday cards which include New Years. I get them out early some years and later others. I used to stress about sending so they arrive early but sometimes life gets in the way.

Surprised that it bothers OP so much though...I'm always have to receive regardless of when it arrives.

I leave my cards up well after christmas, sometimes until February. I don't care when a card arrives. I am usually the first to send them out each year, but some years like this one, I'm struggling to find the Christmas spirit, so am sending them a couple at a time. I just put three in the mail box. This year I knew this about myself so I bought New Years cards instead. Just enjoy the card whenever it comes. It doesn't carry more or less meaning if they send in Dec 1 vs Dec 26.

I was running errands last night and dropped off mail (non Xmas related at 430pm) at Post office. I saw a line of folks mailing Xmas gifts. Really in 12-22? Few folks dropping off cards. I finish errands drive by post office on way home see a whole pack of mini vans and subs dropping off cards at 515 pm. Literally after last pick up!

Why bother.

I am not on social media at all. I rarely text. Just immediate family and siblings. So I have zero social media presence.

I do have what’s app for European cousins on my side. If they are a to text merry Xmas that is cool.

I guess class has died. I had a niece who got engaged and did not send out thank you notes or even texts or call to say got present. Her mom called her out and she responded when I cash their checks they know I got them so good enough! Wow. Did not get Xmas card from them either. Although did not send one as they made it clear.

My two old grand aunts in their 90s literally in nursing homes on dead beds told us cards bring them a little joy at Xmas since they are so sick and old. So of course that is too much work for today’s 40 year old to pause Netflix one minute to bring a dying women some joy.

I'm not sure if you are real or a part of some elaborate performance art but I hope God you keep posting because this is some truly amusing ranting.

Your posts and commentary and general demeanor are proof for everyone that class has died. Or that you never had any to begin with. No social skills either. We doubt you have many friends, since you really come across as a total douchebag.

My friends sent me cards as their wives are good wives. Sad they were a decent part of 15. Next year I am going to cut list again and give reason why if asked. I have a sick kid and will miss Xmas this year as canceled plans today.

We took down the cards yesterday except a few. Looked depressing. Some cards folks looked homeless. Dress up for God sake. Or at at least shower and comb your hair!! Some looked like folks snapped the shot while cleaning out garage

I almost think this is a troll.

I sincerely doubt anyone will ask you, lest they be bored to death by 1,000 words of egocentric babble.

Humility and brevity are your friends. Hold them close.

Is it just Christmas cards or are you this judgy about other things in life? You may have more time on your hands than others as you have time to think about what people should be doing with their time.

I have many friends that have started sending New Years cards which buys them an extra week. Never thought to judge about this.

Frankly I get a chuckle out of the eager beavers whose cards arrive on the Friday after Thanksgiving.

Why???

Christmas cards are a long-standing holiday tradition.

I’ll do them when I get to them. Usually in batches, family first. Some years I get them all out well before Christmas, other years, I don’t even get to all of them. It just depends on how busy, tired, ambitious I am. Oh, well.
