it's ok that you're a little peeved. Sounds like you want any romantic partners to prioritize you. Unfortunately, that is not always possible if they have kids.
+1 I think OP has unreasonable expectations. I am surprised she has a child and does not get this but it may be a situation where she does have flexible coparenting with her ex so she can't understand.
