Yeah, he has a really good lawyer too - Robert Luskin who got Karl Rove off in the Valerie Plame case, where he let Rove testify FIVE TIMES in front of the Grand Jury. I found this old WSJ about him

Trump is a sort of corruption clearinghouse. Whatever scheme you have, Trump will back it, promote it, and provide crooked lawyers if you get caught.

so it looks like a bunch of people were upset right after the "perfect" phone call. According to the Post, four national security staff started asking questions right after call and even went to the National Security Council's legal advisor to figure out how to lodge a complaint. They were told there are no mechanisms for those who work in the WH. Which is why the CIA whistleblower filed a complaint - at least his agency lawyers weren't blocking the complaint.

Apparently the Pentagon was confused about the funds holdup. "They even began to prepare a legal challenge to the freezing of the funds, leading to an unprecedented fight within the Trump administration." Think about that for a second. The Pentagon was preparing to sue the WH.

So, for those that obsess about the whistleblower, remember, s/he is only one small part of the govt folks losing it over Trump's actions.

I happy at this news. But also am a bit skeptical. This guy is a Trump's political appointee. Will he defy Trump to tell the truth?
