Another 5 points on Fox and the Senate will have to rethink the strategy.
And this is before:
-Turkey
-the letter from Cipollone
-blocking Sondland
The next poll will be higher still
Dead god, please let this nightmare end soon.
The trump part might, but then we have to get rid of the GOP tentacles strangling democracy.
If Trump goes, he is taking the entire GOP with him.

I can see him singing to save his life’s work.
Yeah, he has a really good lawyer too - Robert Luskin who got Karl Rove off in the Valerie Plame case, where he let Rove testify FIVE TIMES in front of the Grand Jury. I found this old WSJ about him
"Over the years, I've come to the view that you're never going to sneak a pork chop past a wolf and if you try to trick people you're not going to do very well," says Mr. Luskin, who notes that the world of criminal attorneys is a small one where reputations are quick to gel, for better or worse. "Your most important form of advocacy is having an honest and candid dialogue with prosecutors," he says.

Think about that.

Gordon Sondland, the U.S. ambassador to the European Union, will appear for a deposition before House committees as part of the impeachment inquiry in spite of an attempt by the Trump administration to block his testimony.
“After consultation with Committee Staff, his testimony is now scheduled for Thursday, October 17,” Sondland’s lawyer, Robert Luskin, said in a statement to NBC News on Friday.
“Notwithstanding the State Department’s current direction to not testify, Ambassador Sondland will honor the Committees’ subpoena, and he looks forward to testifying on Thursday,” Luskin said.
I happy at this news. But also am a bit skeptical. This guy is a Trump's political appointee. Will he defy Trump to tell the truth?
The question should be asked, will ambassador Sondland cave under pressure (perhaps he is being blackmailed) to lie under oath so as to advance the agenda of Trump's political enemies?
