There are large numbers of Russians taking to the streets and protesting against the war. And with the risk of arrest and worse that comes with that, it’s very brave of them to do

Dp- no. We’ve used intelligence against them at every point and it’s been effective. Putin had planned to fake all sorts of reasons to garner support at home for this invasion. He’s left with nothing, and Russians are in the streets protesting against this.
It clearly wasn't enough.
Some of the Russian soldiers captured and in the hospital said that they were told Ukraine was the aggressor. They believed Putin's propaganda.
So, the message has not gotten to those that matter most - the military.
