Yes, it is fascinating that New Orleans is reporting ZERO deaths since this is how it did look on February 25. That is truly amazing.
Feb. 25, 2020, file photo, Bourbon Street is a sea of humanity on Mardi Gras day in New Orleans. In the city here, the old saying “Let the good times roll” has given way to a new municipal maxim: “Wash your hands.” A month ago the city was awash in people and steeped in its annual tradition of communal joy — the Mardi Gras season.
How many of those people live in New Orleans?
All of them.
Emphasis on Positive and ONLY.
Please respect that this thread is a refuge for all those who seek it and find a shelter they need. There are many depressed and sad souls out there. It is not too much to ask not to post loom and gloom here. There is enough of depressive news in the media, on all other threads and finally to those who are desperate to share it they can start their own news. It's amazing to me that this hasn't gotten more press. New Orleans had a bigger outbreak than NYC early on.
Because it's good news and very few are clicking on that. So many just want doom and gloom.

This. Democrats want this to be the end of the world so that it will be the end of trump. I think that will probably backfire. -Democrat who doesn’t think this should be political
Dem here as well. I actually supported shutting things down early on. But, the data no longer supports it. Florida/Georgia/Louisiana, etc are starting to gain a lot of positive press that the media will start paying attention rather than hear another sob story from Chris Cuomo, highlighting the doom and gloom of it all.
