Both seemed black out, pi$$ poor drunk. I don’t think he could even know which way was up much less get it u% or assault anything. Like a person who wants to fight, punches the air and falls flat on their face.
She drowned and floated away. She was probably so drunk, she may have swallowed too much water, started getting sick again, fell down, was washed out. The fault IMO lies with the resort. Why is a bar open at 5am serving alcohol? or 4am? Why are people throwing up in the bar and then still being served?!
Think crazy stuff can’t happen in the US? What about that girl at LSU? Drunk out of her mind, left with people she didn’t know, assaulted in a car, got out and run over by another car.
+1 mistakes were made, but were in a place that just doesn’t brook mistakes—the ocean. Heartbreaking for the family.

That's not how it works. Vomiting indicates serious overconsumption of alcohol. You're not magically better because you throw up. You're still really, really drunk. The alcohol remains in the bloodstream and needs to be processed by the liver, which takes time. You've just expelled some of the toxins so you feel less sick.
Given that they were both videotaped vomiting, neither one was functional. I'm surprised anyone can think he was functional enough to be some dastardly mastermind in that state.
So your contention is that drunk/barfy young men can’t be violent or commit criminal acts? Because you should go back to the drawing board if that’s your take.
NP. Of course they can. But pretty hard to pin that when it's pretty clear both of these people were black out drunk. That's a bit more than being a barfy dude. Video footage shows them both being so drunk they leave the bar to vomit (separately). He wouldn't remember, she isn't here to say, and probably wouldn't remember anyway. There's quite a bit of video footage pre-incident.
And he'd have to be pretty darn drunk to vomit, pass out on the beach, and stay there passed out until around 9am.

The other girlfriends were out there for awhile. Was she in the ocean with the boy at that time? Are there other male friends of his to interview? Why did the other 5 girls go on an excursion the next day without locating her? Are they not close friends? Can she swim at all? There’s not much info coming forward. Where is Nancy Grace or Greta Van Sustern?

When you are so drunk that you are puking your guts out, you really aren't in any shape to pull off a kidnapping heist.
He was not that drunk, girl was drunk and almost falling but he was holding her with one arm and taking pictures/video with other arm.
He used translator in his initial interrogation but he has seen news about what inconsistent stories he told in the media coverage. And now a week later he comes up with new information that he was a hero saving her. Really?
Why do you keep nannering on about him holding a phone? He was drunk enough to puke all over the beach (fact). Have you ever been puke-drunk? That's an advanced stage of intoxication.
I thought that too at first. He’s not holding up a phone. It’s a plastic cup.
Yes, in other images the cup is clearly visible.
She was stumbling far more than anyone else, was she drugged?
Nope. Just $hit faced drunk.
How do you know?
I have functioning eyeballs
DP. So you were there? Are you one of the friends she was with on this trip?

Why do you call him the “boy”? He looks like a grown man in the video footage.
