Trump has tanked the “failing Biden Harris economy”. Simple as that. Americans were angry about COVID (which Trump mismanaged) and they gave him an economy that was the envy of the world to bankrupt.

The new NBC national survey shows the Democratic advantage in the generic congressional trial heat growing since March from +1 to +8. The Republican advantage on the economy has essentially disappeared - dropping from 21 points in September 2023 to just 1 point now.

when you go to college and can't get a job; when your parents have been laid off and no one can get health insurance and can't afford food, when you see your friends being hauled off by ICE, this is what happens.

Notice of course that the poll is about most important issue, not about satisfaction with the issue. Trump is flooding the zone with disasters, so the previous top issue has competition.

Republicans have dropped from 46% to 38% in trust, due to their horrific behavior since gaining power in the 2024 election.. That's down below the level in Sept 2020 just before Trump kicked out of the White House.

But Republicans are allergic to truth, we all know.

This needs to hurt the entire GOP for the midterms - they are all cowering before this demented loser of a President.

Smart people of all parties should rally behind a campaign to primary every Republican who refused to stand up to Trump and to destroy them in the general election if they survive the primaries. EVERY LAST ONE.

The GOP is counting on billionaire donors to keep this Trump madness going, but if enough people find a spine and open their eyes to what's going on, sheer numbers of voters can turn the tide.

You understand how unconvincing this is, right? Fewer people say the economy is the biggest problem facing the country… because Trump has created so many new problems.

For the record, on that same program, they cite polls showing only 30% of people saying Trump has made the economy better. 52% say he made it WORSE.

Here is the Gallup dat:

The drop in primacy of economic concern in crime correspondence to the increase in concern about Trump's disastrous handling of iImmigration, healthcare, crime/violence, and national division.

He's made our lives viscerally worse in a way this is more important than money.

down 1.3 points since last week.
39% approve, 57% disapprove, 5% not sure

It's quite an achievement. President Trump has done something no president has ever done before: be less popular than President Donald Trump!

He is basically as unpopular as Biden was in 2024 and as unpopular as he was in 2020 which signals doom for GOP politicians in upcoming elections.

The media purposely painted Biden in a bad light.

Trump is a 💯 disaster, all self-inflicted.

Two elderly bumbling fools who aren't anywhere close to being fit to serve as most powerful person in the world. At least Biden has a little bit of integrity. Trump has zero. Slow clap for the American voters.

Biden was elderly, slow, and tired, but not a bumbling fool like Trump has been since decades before he was elderly.
