Joining a new league is not a promotion/relegation model. In some cases, a club is given entry to a league and then they can use that credential to create brand new teams. The level of the current teams doesn’t really matter because the understanding is they will form new teams with many new players. This is what happened with VRSC’s and other club’s added to GA.

I think the club has to apply every year. The problem is the boys teams that play EDP are mid-table teams. It's hard to make a case that they can compete in MLSN if they aren't able to dominate EDP. Even with the new GA alliance, it will probably be another year or two before MLSN comes to Rev.

Nothing new but the new alliance between MLSN and GA does help. Boils down to whether or not MLSN believes the player pool is big enough to support the number of teams.

Echo chamber of the same employee at Var keeping a flame alive knowing their main attractive is a bar and a ‘nice playing field’
GA has no track history or reputation so it’s easy to get a spot in there, money talks. MLS doesn’t need the money
