4 that scored? I can only find 2. That said, I guess that is a compliment to MU if FCV won in part from players from the former Spirit pool. I don't really care to be honest. My DD has grown as a player and loves her team. She wouldn't think of Lea King. Players that are joining us this year are thrilled. Players from last year are also thrilled. The parents are happy with the changes and progress. That's good enough for me.
3 former WSVA players scored 4 goals. Many other WSVA players played key roles in FCV victories. If you look at the U18/19 FCV roster for example you will find 4 former WSVA players. There are many strong players still on Metro United teams in addition to the former WSVA players who have moved on to FCV and other clubs.

Almost none will go pro. They may not even play on the WNT. Playing on the YNT doesn't necessarily translate into the WNT. And some players picked earlier on for the younger teams don't make the older teams.
Exactly right. FCV fanboy who is stirring this crap up will have a daughter who will wash out in soccer. Enjoy the 5-0 wins against MU while you can. Hope it was worth it

That shows you are out of the loop. MU has improved, MU has picked up ECNL players, MU is running possession game, MU has formed partnerships with local clubs. It hasn't achieved its full potential, but it has traction. Beating FCV is not the milestone it needed.

I think the poster maybe was saying all this soccer stuff that so many parents act hateful toward youth, sometimes kids, won't even be important. These players may go on to do big things as individuals, but almost none will do anything beyond play in soccer in college(and some who are committed will never even play. They will ride the bench).

Agreed and it isn’t even close. It’s also one of the reasons FCV will have trouble with maintaining any dominance with younger teams going forward. Toxic TD and toxic parents/sideline.
If you’ve ever heard FCV parents trashing other players on their team trying to recruit outside parents/players, it’s comical.
