But how many goals were scored by former Washington Spirit players who now play for FCV? A lot!

Actually I count at least 4
4 that scored? I can only find 2. That said, I guess that is a compliment to MU if FCV won in part from players from the former Spirit pool. I don't really care to be honest. My DD has grown as a player and loves her team. She wouldn't think of Lea King. Players that are joining us this year are thrilled. Players from last year are also thrilled. The parents are happy with the changes and progress. That's good enough for me.

These players may go on to do big things as individuals, but almost none will do anything beyond play in soccer in college(and some who are committed will never even play. They will ride the bench).
Almost none will go pro. They may not even play on the WNT. Playing on the YNT doesn't necessarily translate into the WNT. And some players picked earlier on for the younger teams don't make the older teams.

Hope victory weekend was worth the $5k per year for years. The result is meaningless at the end of the day.
$5K ??? Try $12K (with travel and "showcases")

Lol. What a loser mentality.
Lol. Doesn’t matter. You’re the actual loser.
LOL. Ok - whatever it takes to get yourself out of bed in the morning. If you find comfort in seeing these girls fading as you say, then most would agree that you are the loser.
I actually think all would agree that a parent of a club like FCV, who has been around for years and has better on average talent than other area DA options, coming onto the thread of a brand new/relatively new (counting WSVA) and far weaker club to taunt the opposing side after his daughter’s team got a win is by far the biggest loser.
