If your protests blocks the traffic, permits generally required. The guy was not on a sidewalk, he was in the middle of the road. That is why I asked if he obtained a permit for protesting.

That's why ICE are circling the schools and hospitals. Immigrants are hiding in their houses now and not going out as much as possible;. But they WILL take their kids to the hospital and they will take them to school. So that's where they are hiding out.

They are PISSED that the PTA moms have started driving the kids to and from school, and are going to the grocery store to feed the immigrants who are hiding I'm sure they haven't been able to meet their performance metrics as a result, and I am sure that will impact them financially.

ICE are scum of the earth but they are human, and they want their money. If someone is slowing them down, they won't get their money. That's why they are so angry and so violent.

Your regular cops at a protest don't have any finances on the line. In fact they'd prefer to keep their jobs and get their pension. They don't want to have an altercation with a protestor that will be reported, and investigated, may drag them into a lawsuit and hurt their chances for promotion.

ICE aren't worried about any of that - no investigations, no worry about lawsuits, they won't be disciplined or lose any pension. They want their payout this week.
