When their first field listed is Evergreen, you know there's an issue....

Why?

First of all, it hasn't been called Evergreen for years. Second, they are being kicked off that field come June.

Everyone I know calls it evergreen

Now it's thestjamessoccer.com -- and it looks like they redid their badging a bit to spell out The St James Football Club

Nice website. Long time coming.

Does anyone find it a bit ironic when you go the "TSJ Leadership" page (https://thestjamessoccer.com/about-tscfc/leadership-staff/) you get the message:

SORRY! THAT PAGE DOESN'T SEEM TO EXIST.

PRCS isn't obligated to increase their field space if they don't have the rec numbers to support their request. There are a limited number of fields.

No one has excess turf, lit fields.

That's what everyone wants. Plenty of unlit grass fields available.

VA uses Revolution for practice/game fields currently. I doubt they'll consider FCV for anything.

Field status hierarchy with PRCS is 2 year rec player numbers inside Loudoun. Since FCV ran a "free" rec program last year they do have some numbers but will be last on priority again since they half-assed the rec program this year and are still behind LS and Rev.

Loudoun’s rec numbers are down significantly this season. Not nearly as many kids out on the weekends.

I think it's more they are having trouble getting volunteer coaches. They have waitlists at every age group. 7th grade South Riding last year had two coaches, rosters of 25, and now just one coach.

25 players on a soccer roster is awful.

More than 60 teams for first and second grade boys and girls across Ashburn/Brambleton/South Riding PurcellVille/Leesburg/Sterling

Down compared to 2019, but I don't know what these numbers were the last few years.
