Players were nominated and coaches from all the teams got to vote to generate the All-Region team. My DD has played with most, if not all the girls on the list. They are all standout players. Congratulations to all of them!
For all the Karens and Kevins complaining and causing drama, shame on you. Maybe if you complain enough you will get your DD voted in.
For some perspective, MDU got 3 players and they’re the best team in the country right now, while BLC got 5 and M&D got 8. I don’t think anybody was trying to knock the girls who made it but something is clearly flawed in the process.
Agreed, many picks did not make any sense. MDU top team only getting 3 was bizarre. Hero's only got 2. M&D getting 8 is a joke.
Individual coaches were emailed and asked to nominate girls on their team. The MDU coach was busy winning this weekend which might explain her not submitting more names. Not sure what the excuse is for Hero's, all the other playoff teams had good representation for their girls.

Coaches nominate, agree comical M&D nominated 8 of their players (at least) and all 8 were included.
Which coaches nominate? Our team had zero players and although we aren’t as good as some of the top teams we certainly have some individual players who are better than those on the list.

If NGLL wants to do All-Star teams in the future, they should follow a better process.
