They drink non-alcoholic wine in parks and don't know what "woke" means and seem mystified by non-binary people and Black authors (that elevator scene with Charlotte and Harry was cringey).
Do we need to see them gyrating at clubs? No. But they just don't seem like they're part of the fabric of the city. They're like midwestern transplants wandering around a ghost town. It's very sad.

It’s not like Miranda’s been falling down drunk on a regular basis. I know some who regularly over imbibe a bit (imo) but always seem to stay on this side of the line. And although day drinking is a red flag, it hadn’t been clear cut.
Agree. Charlotte wasn't concerned until she saw the vodka bottles in her back pack. It was only obvious to the viewers until then.

I love Sarita Choudhury but her storyline is boring. A middle-aged woman lying to her parents about a fake bf? Gmab.
Why was she exiting her prior abode when off to diwali?

so, the smoke alarm never needed batteries in other apartments?? How does a 55 year old woman not know what that is?
I can see that maybe (maybe?) she wouldn't think of the smoke alarm, but she calls for maintenance "again." What maintenance worker at an apartment complex wouldn't check the smoke alarm?
