Why would you leave a well established program at GFR for the chance of maybe not having a viable team at HYS? Did he get fired from GFR?

The 2014G team collapsed after a year of being the sacrificial lamb in the ECNL-RL (losing most games by double digits). It looks like they have a coach lined up for U13 next year, but seems like the only motive to try out for that team is if you didn't get placed on a badge-wearing team at another club.

Don't count out the 2014G team. That coach they got is coming from GFR. Looks like he's bringing some of them over.

I only see 2011G and 2008G Sterling teams playing NCSL spring. No idea if there are any Herndon girls playing as Sterling on those teams.

Herndon has a few RL girls teams in NCSL-2011 and 2009.

2008 & 2007

I don't see a Herndon team in NCSL for 2008/2007.

That's a Sterling Coach listed on the Herndon website for U13 next year. He may have been the one who was ejected from a game.

That's not what they've done this year. Or at least not for all the girl's teams.

Not fooling anyone I suppose and proving how rotten the NoVA soccer world is.

It does seem like NA must’ve done some arm twisting to get that award, in an attempt to bring more girls to the program. It seems like they are really trying with marketing, etc. but nothing speaks louder than results and track record.

You can't erase overnight years of ignoring the girls and favoring the boys. Plus, they talk a lot about fixing the girl side and yet, how many board members have a daughter in the club or even just a daughter playing soccer? The board hasn't changed for over 2 or 3 years at this point. They are not holding annual meeting, they are not holding fair election, they are not even filling their taxes. What amazes me the most is that the club is still able to somewhat function.

which age group are you referring to? I think Sterling girls only have enough girls to make a team on the really young and u13+ age groups. I think they only had a handful of u11-u12 at their tryout.
