They may even think it is an aceptance for the second team, not the third team, since the teams were renamed. This was not explained at our tryout so anyone not a current valor family might not know the team levels changed for next year.
I bet the team isn't even listed on their website = no coach = considered the lowest performing players by Valor (based on unknown assumptions and nepotism) = little to zero opportunities for advancement.
If you volunteer to be the team manager, you might warrant a bye to get your kid to move up. Get yourself some knee pads while you're at it. Good luck there.

Damn, that’s shady.
My child and a teammate got offers from Vienna that did not explain this. But you can tell by looking at their website. I can see why clubs would not spell this out; they want to make money!

Did they send a message out or tell the parents, this team has no coach? It looks like they announced their coaches weeks ago--Why did they not finish hiring coaches for all teams then? How is it reasonable to expect people to commit to an expensive year of soccer with no coach?
Normally to fill a lower-level team as a revenue effort (get as many parents as possible to pay who desperately want their kid to play travel).
-They will produce X coach once they understand they have the overhead to cover it, however this will very likely be a very low-level, bottom of barrel and inexperienced coach.
You better off trying out for another club or going back to recreation.
Last year they hired the 2013 G white team coach late in the game and he is excellent.
Late in the game? Can you explain or did you mean the season?
They had tryouts and the coach that selected the team quit before the season started. So they hired Al and we love him.

That's a different situation. The club vetted and hired a qualified, professional coach before tryouts who selected the team and who parents could meet before plunking down 3Gs. That guy quit and then they found another qualified, professional coach.
Here, no one bothered to hire anyone but still wants the parents to plunk down the Gs.
But it’s OK for Herndon, Arlington, and McLean to still have coaching vacancies open I assume? (Which they do)
