Everyone has talked about how ridiculous the BF parents are on this board, and yes there were a couple. However, the only real trash talk has come from the Madison parents. And it is that they have 100% confidence they are winning the state title on a running clock
I’m excited for Saturday to see who is right. Good luck to both teams and may your parents get a life and shut up
Madison fan and this is a fair point. Not sure it's Madison parents though. Reads like teenagers to me.
definitely the parents, their kids are too busy prepping for the game this weekend and exams lol
My guess is it's the '29 madison parents, coach Counts hasn't had the "talk" with them yet. BF coach talked to their parents earlier in the year.
yep, there were a couple of them pushing for their kids to be the POY as a freshman wouldn't put it past them

Agree! It will be clear on Saturday that Madison is in a league of its own. The game against Robinson was nearly flawless.
I have been trying to stay out of all of these shenanigans because this game is about the girls and the fact remains it is going to be an extremely physical, evenly matched game. I wish both teams luck and congratulations on making it to the finals.
As for the draw from their previous game, BF won 13 out of 18 draws
I’m not saying it will be that way again, nor am I trying to rub anything in. It was a question asked and I thought that since people were talking trash instead of actually giving an answer that I would just give the facts

As an aside, overall, with a few exceptions, it’s quite clear the level of lacrosse skill across the Virginia publics has been declining for the last few years. The level of play just isn’t the same. Last year’s DCUM forum had many comments on this. The trend continues unabated.
Most I'll informed is this guy. All conjecture! No facts presented so you're basically talking out of your a$$

BF close over Cosby but this is ripe for an upset
Madison for the state title. BF falters again
This!
BF will go home with another runner-up trophy only because they had a cake walk to semis. Otherwise their season would have ended already.
The reality is, Madison and Battlefield both had cake walks. Who did Madison have to beat that was “so hard?” … Fairfax County has lost the argument of having a harder time than Prince William. Good lacrosse in Fairfax has declined.
