It’s not odd to miss the farm!! Our local elementary did field trips there. The Boy Scouts had an event there! It was a part of the community. And that I sanely dangerous traffic circle is going to kill someone for sure!!!!

Yep, should be interesting to see how this neighborhood and Amalyn do as they have lots of planned lots in the coming months/years. I don’t doubt the DMV area has the buyers

I think demand is still high…the models still have constant traffic. They certainly aren’t hiking the prices like they were though!

You probably still come out well ahead with a better interest rate.
All of this is interesting because several pages ago in this thread, Toll agents said that they didn't need to entice buyers because the competition for these houses was so intense.

Yep, it seems like this is for their National Sales Event ending 10/2, we'll see if they extend incentives with the market being as uncertain as it is now

For anyone looking at this development. I've been told the sales event going on now is $80K credit for the design center and $20K towards closing if using the TB Lender. Going to be interesting if they adjust further as rates rise.

It’s really dependent on the regional and local team building. We have asked many folks in the community (while driving by), and we have heard nothing but great things for Mt Prospect. Same in the Arden and Willowcreek area. I think people are happy and negative reviews will always exist from disgruntled people.
I varies a lot, I think. But the true horror stories appear rare. We had a lot of relatively minor inconveniences and they also often “forgot” to schedule follow-ups, etc. Annoying but not catastrophic. Some of our neighbors had no complaints, another had a ton of rainwater come into their bedroom after the first big storm after their move-in. A good handful of us experienced notable framing mistakes (windows incorrectly placed, etc.) almost all caught and fixed before closing.
Just be very present during construction and active in following up on concerns.
Agreed…they are very responsive in my opinion when things go wrong. I don’t blame them for problems that arise…but it’s good to know they deal with things appropriately. I’m a very happy customer of Mt Prospect.
I’m glad you’re happy, but in my experience the repair work (when needed after closing) has been difficult to actually get completed well. Try to get anything you can get fixed before closing—several items that were noted on our list of things to fix at the pre-closing walkthrough never ended up getting fixed, simply because we got tired of having to follow up.

The bolded statement is a very bizarre thing to say with respect to a homebuilder.
