That’s a bonus for them. Red states LOVE illegal immigrants, entire industries in those states (agriculture, construction just to name two) thrive thanks to them. If they are hunted elsewhere, even better, this will make them more vulnerable and even more exploitable and cheaper for red states’ employers

Well Trump has already said he will stop arresting illegals in farming and leisure industries. You know construction will be next. There is no plans for raids in red states with high illegals - Florida and Texas. 3- 4 million live in those states.
It’s all theater.

The difference is that "red states" actually work with ICE and other law enforcement so raids are not as necessary. They have some, but not nearly as many. In "red states" when an illegal is arrested, they actually inform ICE - go figure!
Contrast that to the "blue states" sanctuary cities (or in some cases, whole states) where they prevent law enforcement from working with ICE. So, if a criminal illegal alien is arrested in a sanctuary city, that criminal is actually released back onto the streets to commit more crimes. The inability for law enforcement to work with ICE combined with the very lenient laws when it comes to bail and incarceration creates a need for the raid
States’ rights until it isn’t, I guess.

How is this ok that we have masked, unbadged "enforcement" thugs simply going around and detaining/kidnapping people?
Not sure who the gestapo is.
If you are talking about Brad Lander - yes, this is what happens when you obstruct law enforcement from doing their jobs.
How do you know they are law enforcement? They are not wearing badges!
