Congrats! I was on the wrong side of this one. Didn't see that coming with four D1 commits on the field for Centreville.
Unfortunately having D1 commits is not the key to success. Playing as a team is. People seem to throw around the D1 name tag like it’s a game changer. Remember there are 120 D1 women’s programs. Once you get past the top 30 teams the level of play and talent drops quickly. I’ve seen teams win state championships with far fewer college commits. What matters is having a solid goalie and 11 field players with solid stick skills who all play well as a team.

Langley can beat Madison. This would be a good match for both teams after losing such talented 22 class. Let’s see if Madison can finally get over that hump in regionals facing them.
Langley beat Madison? I don’t think so. Watched Langley play W-L and it looked like two JV teams playing. There were probably four turnovers for every goal scored. The score was something like 2-1 at halftime. I don’t see Langley or Yorktown getting out of the region.
Agree. After 4-5 years of dominating at States (Langley & Yorktown), this isn’t the Liberty District’s year. It’s Concorde’s year.

Outcoached WS in adjustments in 2nd half.
